What to Expect…
What Can You Expect From a Photo Session? – Expect to have FUN! Session lengths vary and we will discuss your photoshoot location(s) prior to your session.
After Your Session – I will be hard-at-work editing your photos and making sure they are just right. This typically takes about one week and you will receive an email letting you know your photos are ready to view. This email will include a link and password so you can access your personal photo gallery on the Clients Portal. You can send this to as many people as you’d like – in case Grandma and Grandpa want to see your portraits too!
Ordering Your Portraits – You can order your prints, canvases, metal, mounted, or standout images, and full-resolution digital downloads, right from your gallery. Don’t forget to use your coupon code if your order total qualifies for free or discounted items! A custom usb of up to 40 images from your portrait session is available for an additional cost of $400 or ALL the photos from your gallery for $600.

Need to Reschedule or Cancel Your Session? – No problem! Just contact me and we can reschedule or cancel, if needed. Please note that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment to receive a full session fee refund.
What to Wear…
For Family Photos – Coordinate but don’t match! Stick with neutrals and softer shades with a few colorful accents from the same color palette. A few pops of color to coordinate between outfits helps compliment each other without looking ‘matchy-matchy’.
Accessorize – Scarves, hats, flower headbands, boots, vests, and jewelry can help make a photo feel complete. Wearing accessories and layers can help add variety to your photoshoot with multiple looks without having to do many wardrobe changes.
Textures, Patterns, and Layers – Subtle patterns in moderation can add interest to your photos, but make sure the pattern isn’t overwhelming or too busy. Textured materials such as knits, lace, ruffles, and embroidery can help add detail and interest to your photos as well, and layers are a great way to add dimension and variety.
Try To Avoid – Logos, graphics, stripes, and text! This can be distracting and detract from the quality of your image.
What to Bring…
Wardrobe Changes – Can’t decide on just one outfit? Bring a few! Layers are a great way to mix up your photos and get a nice variety of looks to showcase your style.
Props – Props such as a beloved, favorite toy, an heirloom quilt, an antique camera, or the family pet are a great way to add meaning and significance to your photos. Some of the best images capture the subject’s genuine interaction with these types of props. Make sure the prop ‘makes sense’ for your photoshoot and will not be overwhelming or distract from the subject(s).
Plan Ahead – Nebraska weather is Nebraska weather. Be prepared by bringing a photogenic jacket or sweater, and a hairbrush for those windy days.
What to Order…
Prints – Order your prints, styrene mounted prints, or standouts right from your gallery, in all of your favorite sizes. Choose to add a metallic, or deep matte finish to your prints for added interest.
Displays – Choose from metal wall displays, framed prints, modern float wraps, bamboo panels, gallery wraps, image blocks, or wood prints to display your portraits.
Cards – Need custom designed birth announcements, graduation party invites, save-the-dates, or holiday cards? Choose to order custom designed foil printed, boutique shapes, and multi-fold cards with return address envelopes.
Albums – Order custom designed albums, and lay-flat photo books to commemorate important events. Lay-flat books are perfect for creating personalized guestbooks, baby books, and more. Albums have even more elegance with your choice of a photo cover with fabric, or premium leather, or a unique wood or metal photo cover. Photo album boxes to safely store your books are also available.
Slideshows – Choose up to 4 songs for your slideshow. Photos other than portraits from your session can be added, as well as text and short video clips.
And More – Photo ornaments and image cubes make memorable gifts, magnets are perfect for save-the-dates or birth announcements, and buttons are great for teams and seniors.
